Collin
Working with Van-Centre for more then 6 years Collin has worked his way through VCF to become our senior technician, responsible for troubleshooting and repairs at the largest customers, his wealth of experience form major dealerships throughout Canada has transferred nicely into our company culture. He is a asset to not just VCF but also our customers who he services. Collin specializes in troubleshooting and repairs of electric forklifts and scissor lifts. Collin still holds one of the last Forklift Service Technician Trade Qualifications. Phased out, this TQ used to be the gold standard of Forklift mechanics. Pressure from major industry players led to the demise of this TQ resulting in large companies being able to proved unskilled labour for skilled labour rates.
Robin
Robin has proved himself to be a valuable asset of VCF, specializing on large repairs and hydraulics Robin is our go to for LPG forklift repairs and servicing. having been at the company for nearly 5 years robin started as a shop helper while working to become a certified technician.
Laiya
Working with VCF for 5 years Laiya's attention to detail is unmatched in the industry. Laiya was responsible for creating our Cepo line of forklifts, making sure the quality was equal to new. Laiya is also our head shop technician, if your forklift comes to us chances are she worked on it. Laiya graduated from VCC with a AST Red Seal in June of 2023.
Kevin
if you're looking to buy New, Used or Cepo equipment Kevin is your go to man. with a wealth of knowledge from the largest manufactures and rental houses in the industry, Kevin is able to match customer needs with the right equipment every time.
Jeff
Jeff has been with VCF for 4 years and has become a core piece of our operation, responsible for planning mechanics work days, to billing and receivables, jeff manages the service side of VCF.
Patrick
Starting the company over a decade ago Patrick brought VCF from a one man operation to the thriving business it is today. He splits his time between teaching apprentices, troubleshooting the most difficult breakdowns, finding and bringing in new used equipment to rebuild and doing all the behind the scenes management and jobs that fall between the duties of the rest of the staff. Patrick Graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic in 2010, He has sponsored multiple apprentices and believes that our industry should encourage trade certification through Skilled Trades B.C. teaching a new generation not just to replace parts, but to fix problems.
