NXT low speed electric vehicles are certified by transport Canada and ICBC in British Columbia for road use on roadways with a posted speed limit of 40km/h or less. on roads posted at 50km/h the city or municipality must give permission to be used.
LSV is the acronym for Low Speed Electric Vehicle, this category is reserved for street legal low speed vehicles only and not golf carts or other off road vehicles.
No, golf carts do not have the same safety features as a LSV and are not transport Canada certified.
At this time not as a standard option, due to the complexity of integrating 4wd in a LSV it is currently cost prohibitive to provide this as a standard option, if you insist on 4wd please contact us for a custom build.
