Lease Vs Rental
When renting forklifts the cost of all maintenance and repairs is included**
Should you decide you want to change to a different machine it's simply a call away. Businesses are always changing and renting gives you the flexibility to manage your equipment needs at the same speed.
When leasing a forklift the machine in question is sold to a lender (lessor) who for a monthly payment sells it back to the client (lessor) until the end of term when ownership is transferred.
Leasing has its advantages but is less flexible than renting in that you are under contract for the length of the term. Leases are great for companies who plan to service their own equipment regularly and want to take ownership of the forklift at the end of term. Depending on how your company is able to depreciate the asset this may be beneficial however its always best to contact your accountant to see what makes the most sense for your operation. With renting the repairs and maintenance are included in forklift payments however damages are the responsibility of the renter. Service packages are available with our lease programs but are typically not included in the lease payment.
